The annual post-July 4 beach cleanup is scheduled for Tuesday July 5 from 9am – noon in Westport and Grayland beaches. Community groups, Twin Harbor State Park, and local businesses are joining to encourage everyone to clean up the debris that often gets left behind from fireworks, bonfires and other celebrations on the beach over the holiday weekend.
Bags will be provided by Twin Harbor State Park, and a free BBQ hosted by Ocean Companies will be on site at Westhaven State Park from 10am – noon to feed all of the hungry volunteers.
The cleanup is a fun family activity for those looking for something to do with their kids that makes a real difference in our community. All volunteers are welcome to participate.
In addition to Westhaven State Park, cleanup sites will also include the Grayland beach access road.
