Ocean Companies Safety Tip of the Week
In case of a fire, evacuate the building to the emergency meeting location. If the fire is large, call 911 and report it. DO NOT TRY TO FIGHT A LARGE FIRE. Make sure you know the address of the facility you are at:
Ocean Cold – 1804 N. Nyhus St, Westport;
Ocean Cold – 1601 Year Out Drive, Westport;
Ocean Protein – 522 – 22nd St, Hoquiam
If the fire is in the incipient stage, or small, use a fire extinguisher to put it out using the P.A.S.S. system:
P – pull the pin.
A – Aim at the base of the fire.
S – Squeeze the trigger.
S – Sweep side to side.
